About Katie
I am the proud founder of By Katie, a bespoke, London-based, on-the-day planning consultancy specialising in events, primarily weddings and landmark birthday parties.
​
I decided to launch By Katie after spending the last five years as Head of Sales at the renowned London venue, One Marylebone, where I worked with some of the biggest brands and high-profile individuals to make sure their special days were executed to the highest standard.
​
My eye for detail, organisational skills and ability to respond to critical situations have been accumulated through years of high-pressure roles in the hospitality and events sectors and as a personal assistant in one of the UK’s biggest private equity firms.
I trained at the renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School with Darina Allen, and whilst that didn't inspire me to build my career in the kitchen, it has given me an invaluable insight into what goes on behind the scenes.

Services
Quite often I have met clients who have been overwhelmed by their big day, and understandably so. People can spend so long stressing over complicated logistical problems that sometimes, the days' enjoyment can be spoiled. I take all this stress away from my clients by doing the heavy lifting on the day that you've spent some much time planning.

A service tailored to your day, taking time to learn the intricacies of your schedule and ensure everything runs to plan.

Two virtual consultations prior to your event. An additional on-site consultation can also be conducted subject to an additional fee.

Being with you during the day of your event from start to finish.

Acting as the main liaison for your suppliers such as the band, caterers, production, venue, photographers etc. so that any questions that may arise come straight to me.

Despite being London-based, I have travelled far and wide to assist clients with their events.
